Day 1

Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Kent, and arrive late afternoon at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel for a 2 night stay with dinner bed and breakfast, enjoy tea/coffe and biscuits on arrival. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2

After breakfast we make the journey into the Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, with it's elegant streets and Georgian buildings and the famous Pantiles, a colonnaded shopping area in the town centre. We spend the morning here and grab lunch.
In the afternoon, we travel to Pashley Manor where the famous Tulip Festival is underway. There is over 48,000 tulips in full bloom compromised of 105 varieties in a colour coordinated garden. A truly mesmerising sight.
In the evening enjoy your time at leisure and also enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, we leave and head for Leeds Castle. Set on two islands on the River Len and has been home to generations of lords and ladies for over 1,000 years. We are teansported through around 900 years of the castle's history - in a sumptuous mix of period architecture, impressive interiors, and family trasures.

In the late afternoon/evening make your way back to Wales.

Hotel Information

The Mercure Great Danes Hotel, Maidstone, is set in 26 acres of private grounds, with an etensive Health and Leisure Club, including indoor pool, sauna and solarium. All bedrooms are en suite, and have television, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel also has a lift.
