Day 1
Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Shropshire to arrive late
afternoon at the Lions Quays Hotel. Three nights stay– dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 2
Our first visit today is to ‘where Shropshire meets Wales’, the vibrant market town of
Oswestry, where its market day! You can hear Welsh and English voices mingling side
by side in the recently voted ‘coolest place to live in England’. After this, we make the
journey into Shrewsbury - packed with timber framed black and white buildings
amongst narrow alleyways surrounded by the River Severn
Day 3
The day starts with a drive into the historic city of Chester. The day is then free for you
to explore this ancient Roman city at your own pace. Take in the sights and smells of
the Christmas Market, marvel at the unique 2-storey ‘Rows’ of shops, or take a gentle
stroll around the ancient Roman Walls.
Day 4
After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
