DAY 1
Depart from your pick up area in the morning travelling to Scotland and arrive late afternoon at Best Western Invercarse. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed and breakfast.
DDAY 2
This morning we travel west to historic Perth where we have the morning free to explore the city and choose your spot for lunch. In the afternoon, we travel to Glamis Castle, one of the finest castles in Scotland and the former home of Princess Margaret. It’s also the setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth. We have a tour of the historic castle and soak up the beauty of the gardens before making our way back to the hotel for dinner.
B, DDAY 3
Our destination today is the former Kingdom of Fife. Heading inland via Cupar to the coast, we enjoy a lovely coastal drive through the villages of Elie, Pittenweem and Crail on the way to St Andrews, the world-renowned home of golf. This is our lunch stop today with the chance to explore the town before we head to Kingsbarns Distillery to enjoy a guided tour and tasting of their whisky.
B, DDAY 4
Today is free to explore the city of Dundee at your leisure. You could visit Discovery Point and board Captain Scott’s ship RRS Discovery. Follow in the footsteps of the captain and his crew, see how they lived, what they ate and witness their hardships and triumphs on their heroic exploration of Antarctica. Or perhaps visit the V & A Museum of Design, enjoy a spot of retail therapy or just sit and watch the world go by.
B, DDAY 5
After breakfast, meet your coach and return travel back to Wales
