Covid-19 Protection and FAQ's

 

To give you that piece of mind, every booking is covered with Coracle Coaches COVID-19 Protection and Trust Payments cover. So if your tour is cancelled or postponed due to Covid restrictions, you can choose from a full refund or credit voucher for your next holiday.

Please do not forget, we strongly advise you take out your own travel insurance to cover you in case you need to cancel.

 

Please find below our frequent ansked questions regarding Covid-19, if we have missed anything and you do have any more questions please contact us.

1. What happens if my holiday gets cancelled due to Covid-19 Restrictions?

If your holiday is cancelled due to Covid restrictions, then you will be able to opt for a full refund or a credit voucher for your next holiday.

Covid-19 restrictions include:
- The place you are travelling to is under full lockdown and we can not access the area
- Wales has been placed into full lockdown and we are unable to leave the country
- England has been placed into full lockdown and we are unable to access the country
- The hotel has cancelled at short notice due to a loss of staff with Covid cases

We will also in your best interest monitor all Covid cases in the destination we are travelling to make sure it is safe enough to enter that area.

2. What happens if I have Covid and need to cancel?

If you have Covid and you need to self isolate resulting in you missing your holiday, we strongly advice that everyone within your party takes out travel insurance to cover them.
If the holiday is still continuing to run then you will have to resort to our cancellation charges in our terms and conditions and seek help form your travel insurance company to claim back any loses.

3. What happens if I test positive while I am away with you?

In the event you become to feel unwell and test positive for Covid. We ask you to contact our office straight away along with the reception of the hotel. You may be able to self isolate in the hotel or you may have to be transferred to an alternative hotel. Any additional cost for hotel stay will needed to be covered by yourself along with your return travel back to Wales.

We do strongly advise you to take out travel insurance for all guests in your party.

4. What happens if my area goes into full lockdown resulting in me unable to attend my holiday?

Where possible, we will try and accomodate depending on the time frame before travelling. If Coracle Coaches has not confirmed and/or paid for any or part of the elements to your holiday we may be able to transfer your holiday to an alternative date or offer you a credit voucher.

If all elements of your holiday has been confirmed and/or paid for, we highly suggest you take out your own travel insurance for all guests in your party to seek help from them in the result you lose any money.

5. What happens if I or someone else tests positive after my holiday?

At the moment we are monitoring cases in the destinations we are travelling to and understand that Covid can be picked up anywhere. If you test postive after your holiday, please make sure you contact track and trace along with our office so we can notify all other passengers travelling.

If someone on the coach tests positive after your holiday we again will be in contact with everyone on the coach to notify you of the positive result and strongly suggest you take a LFT or PCR test.
