Day 1
Depart from your pick up point in the morning, stopping off in Chester on the way for some time at leisure before arriving at Shrigley Hall Hotel in time for Tea, Coffee and a warming Sherry and Mince Pie. Settle in and explore your new surroundings before dinner and light entertainment from the hotel duo.
DDay 2
(Christmas Eve)
Today we visit the former Spa town of Buxton with its wealth of shops and lovely public gardens. Enjoy carol singing by our local choir with a warming glass of mulled wine. After dinner join us for
our Heritage walk. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local church services will be available. Hot chocolate awaits you on return.
Day 3
(Christmas Day)
Merry Christmas! Open your presents and join us for a celebratory Bucks Fizz breakfast. Enjoy Traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. This afternoon relax, listen to the King’s Speech with coffee and mince pies. Finish the day with Hot Fork Buffet and you may feel like joining in the festive quiz.
Day 4
(Boxing Day)
Our final excursion takes us on a drive through the Peak District to Bakewell, home of the famous ‘tart’ to enjoy the scenery and some fresh air. We will return to the hotel in time for a traditional Tea
Dance with Cream Tea. We finish the celebrations with a Cheshire and Derbyshire themed dinner, (set menu). Our host and resident DJ entertains us with a lively ‘music by request’ to end the day.

The impressive Shrigley Hall Hotel sits in over 250 acres of countryside in the village of Pott Shrigley, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Hotel facilities include leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, Courtyard Bar, lounge. Bedrooms are en suite and have TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
